About Us

A small family farm located in the Hudson Valley. We grow vegetables, flowers, herbs and some fruit from seed using healthy practices. We believe in educating our customers along the way as we grew from seed to harvest throughout the season. Jen- Grew up on her parent’s farm The Hitsman Farm in LaGrangeville about 10 minutes away. Time on my parent’s farm was mostly spent driving tractors and unloading hay. As I became older and my brother’s took over more of the tractor work and I started working more with the vegetables. Helping plant at the end of May and then maintain between the rows of vegetables (push mowing or pulling weeds) Putting in stakes to hold up vegetables, Harvesting and more. 


Bill- Grew up here with his family and Grandfather (Doc Sanford) until the age of ____. His family moved only a few minutes away. Bill would ride his four wheeler to work on the farm each day. When Bill was a teenager he would help his Grandfather with hay. 


Bill and I met when we were around 13 years old. My brothers were in Boyscouts with him. Bill and I built a friendship for many years before starting to date in 2007. In the summer of 2011 we had the opportunity to move onto his grandfather’s Farmhouse. The following year, we created our first family garden… Which has expanded and changed every year since then.
